Risk & Order Settings
- Risk Mode: HighRisk – Enables high-risk mode, and the EA can open large position sizes.
- Risk %: 0.0 – Toggle on lot calculation as percentage of account balance; employs fixed or alternate formula.
- Hedging: yes – Enables both buy and sell positions simultaneously (hedging allowed).
- Use Fixed Lot: false – Disables fixed lot usage; the EA will determine lot size based on the selected risk level.
- Fixed Lot Size: 0.01 – When the fixed lot mode is enabled, the EA will trade at a lot size of 0.01.
Transaction time
- Start Time: 10 – The trading begins at 10:00 AM.
- Start Minute: 0 – Start time is designed to equal the 0th minute.
- Finish Hour: 18 – It ends at 6:00 PM.
- Minute: 59 – Set the end time to minute 59.
Trailing Stop
- Trailing (True/False): true – Enables the trailing stop feature.
- Trailing Trigger: 180.0 – Trailing stop is activated once profit reaches 180 pips/points.
- Trailing From: 85.0 – The stop loss will be set at 85 pips/points from the trigger price.
- Trailing Step: 3.0 – Every additional 3 pips/points in price movement, the stop is moved accordingly.
Other parameters
- Comments: Hermes EA MT4 – Tag or label on trades to easily identify.
- Magic Number: 987654321 – Unique identifier assigned to the EA to prevent trade conflicts with other systems.
- Slippage: 10 – Maximum allowed slippage in points/pips (broker settings dependent).
