Strategy and Trading Logic
- Strategy Type: This is a night scalping EA that is designed to trade during low-volatility time—primarily later than 23:00 server time.
- Trading Pairs: It has expertise in EURUSD, GBPUSD, and EURCHF.
- No Grid or Martingale – It executes single-entry trades based on market condition such as spread, slippage, time filters, and news events.
- The EA does not trade during rollover time, public holidays, and the Triple Swap Day (Wednesdays) to prevent slippage or spread spikes.
Risk Management and Capital Control
- Lot Size: Fixed at 0.01 lots.
- Max Risk per Trade: 5% of balance in account.
- Max Open Orders: 20, on a maximum of 2 currency pairs.
- Drawdown Protection:
- Max Floating Drawdown: 100%
- Max Daily Drawdown (FTMO Rules): 10%
- Drawdown Action: Automatically closes all trades and prohibits trading for 24 hours if they are exceeded.
Advanced Filters and Safety Features
- News Filter: Activated through the Advanced News Filter:
- Avoids trading 180 minutes prior to and after major news.
- Filters specific event types: FOMC, NFP, Fed announcements, etc.
- Stock Market Crash Filter: Included but not activated at the time.
- Swap Filter: Avoids trading on Triple Swap Day in order to minimize overnight cost risks.
- Spread & Slippage Controls:
- Max Spread: 4.0 pips
- Max Slippage: 3.0 pips
- Trailing Stop, TP, and SL: All are disabled—this EA is meant for fast scalping with zero exposure.
- Time Filters: Active during rollover periods (22XX, 23XX) in order to avoid bad market conditions.
- GMT Offset: +2 with DST = US – aligns EA time with broker/server time.
